Coverage guide
Provider record coverage and source scope
MyCareRoute is built as a source-labeled provider record directory. The current public launch scope is Florida dentist records, but the coverage model is designed to support future states and provider categories as separate source-backed read models are approved.

Current launch scope
What is covered now
The public site currently shows active Florida dental provider records from the validated public read model. These pages are useful for checking source-reported NPI, taxonomy, entity type, practice address, reported phone status, source date, and record caveats.
Start with Florida dentist records by city, or open one of the high-volume city directories:
Limits
What the records do not confirm
A public record is not the same thing as a recommendation, appointment listing, insurance directory, or license verification page. MyCareRoute does not rank dentists, confirm quality, verify current licensure, verify insurance acceptance, or know whether an office is accepting appointments.
- Confirm current address and phone directly with the office.
- Use the NPI to compare the record against CMS NPPES.
- Check state licensing separately before relying on licensure status.
- Ask the provider or plan about insurance, services, and appointment availability.
Future expansion
How future states and categories should be added
Future states and provider categories should follow the same public-display contract: exact source joins, source provenance, active read-model rows, validation checks, and cautious copy before any page becomes public. A planned category should not appear as a live provider directory until its source-backed read model is approved.
The durable source rules are documented on Data sources. For record-level use, read how to verify a dentist NPI and what CMS NPPES confirms.
